Batman-wings possible?

I often wondered about the possibility of the Batman-wings. The've build so many flying things and machines and flying suits. Is it possible?
Now some students demonstrated: It's not possible. Batman could make it, but he would crash onto the floor with about 68 miles per hour.
If you don't want to crash that hard, take the same wings -BUT: double the dimension :-)
